The Itinerary
Your chauffeur-guide meets you at the airport and transfers you to Negombo or Colombo. The first day is shaped around your arrival time, with a relaxed evening to settle in before the touring begins.
You travel inland to your first cultural base — the Cultural Triangle around Sigiriya and Dambulla, or the hill capital of Kandy — with comfortable stops along the way, arriving with time to relax.
A morning of culture timed for cooler hours — an early climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress and the Dambulla Cave Temple, or in Kandy the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the botanical gardens.
